The small print

Our terms, in plain English

We’d rather you read this than be surprised later. If anything here isn’t clear, ask us and we’ll fix the wording.

Your plan

• There’s no setup fee. You pay your first month when we start building.
• The first term is twelve months. After that the plan rolls on month to month, and you can stop with 30 days’ notice by email.
• Yearly plans are paid up front for twelve months and cost the same as ten.
• You can move to a bigger or smaller plan at any time. The new price starts from your next bill.
• If we ever change our prices, we’ll tell you at least two months before, and never during your first twelve months.

Who owns what

• Your domain is registered in your name from the first day.
• Your words, photos, logo and documents are always yours.
• Once your first twelve months are paid, the website is yours as well. If you leave, we hand over every file, free, and help you point your domain somewhere else.
• If you leave before twelve months, you can either pay the rest of the term and take the site, or keep your domain and content and leave the design with us.

Changes

• Each plan includes an amount of changes every month (see pricing). Unused time doesn’t roll over.
• A change is anything to existing pages: words, photos, times, prices, documents. New pages, new features or a redesign are quoted separately, and we always give you the price first.
• We’ll tell you when your change is live.

What you look after

• That you have the right to use the words and photos you send us, and that what you ask us to publish is accurate and lawful.
• Your own email, if you have one. We set it up for free, but the subscription is between you and Google or Microsoft.

Privacy

This website doesn’t use cookies, doesn’t track you, and doesn’t contain advertising. We count visits in a way that doesn’t identify anyone.

If you email us, we keep your message and contact details so we can reply and, if you become a customer, so we can look after your website. We don’t share them with anyone else or use them for marketing. Ask us to delete them at any time.

The websites we build for you work the same way: no tracking cookies, so no cookie banner, unless you ask us to add a service that needs one.

Questions about any of this: [email protected].
