Guesthouse · West Clare · Open March to October
Cuas Beag means little cove. Our farmhouse has looked down on it since 1840. Máire and Dónal have been minding guests here for twenty years, and still put a hot-water bottle in your bed in October.
Every room has its own bathroom, good wifi and a window that opens. Prices are per room, per night, with breakfast for two.
King bed, sea view
Double bed, garden view
Twin or super-king, sea view, sofa
Double bed, ground floor, step-free
Two-night minimum in July and August. Sorry, no pets, but Bran the sheepdog will be glad to see you.
Máire's brown bread, porridge with cream, eggs from our own hens, and a full Irish if you're heading for the cliffs. Smoked salmon from Carrigaholt, and a pot of tea that never runs out.
Served from 8 to 10 in the front room, at the window.
We're at the end of a boreen off the coast road, 40 minutes west of Ennis. Follow the signs for the pier and look for the blue door. When you book we'll send you directions that actually work, because your sat-nav won't.
